According to 2006 Bernstein Investment Research of New York City figures, Life Settlements are expected to top $19 billion in 2006, and could grow to $160 billion over the next several years. According to figures from the U.S. Census Bureau, there are about 34 million seniors aged 65 and older. But this number is expected to grow to about 69 million by 2030.
